Two Days (Roof of Thailand Eco Trek)

Doi Inthanon national park is renowned for its stunning mountain and forest landscapes. It is home to Thailand’s highest peak 2565 meters above sea level.  Our 2 day trek includes a visit to this famous peak as well as enjoying the jungle trekking, farmland and waterfalls the national park has to offer.  We will also take you to visit the Mong and Karen indigenous hill tribe villages within the park and show you one of Thailand’s many Royal Projects. The Royal Project is a non-profit organization initiated by the late King Bhumibol to improve the quality of life of hill tribe people and reduce the opium growing which used to be the main source of income to the indigenous people in the area.


Day One Highlights:

  • Pick up 7:30-8:00am
  • Drive through countryside to Mong Hill Tribe Village – learn about their way of life, visit local kindergarten school, visit Royal Project
  • Drive to Doi Inthanon highest peak – visit King and Queen’s  flower garden and pagoda with striking mountain views
  • Jungle Trek
  • Lunch break (heathy lunch)
  • Drive to see three beautiful waterfalls
  • Stay overnight at Thai Eco Lodge (jungle stay)

Total Trek 2-3 hours

Day Two Highlights:

  • Breakfast
  • Trek through lush jungle and farmlands enjoying the highland views
  • Trek up to Kerjertae Mountain, through pine forests and along streams to reach the peak and see attractive panoramic views. Enjoy lunch in the forest in the clouds
  • Trek through conservation rainforest to the remote mountain village of Hoi Ka Noon

Total Trek 5-6 hours

Trip includes: ac transportation, healthy meals, drinking water, accident insurance, tour guide, hill tribe assistant, and  national park fee.
